So I went over my friend's house and played Journey on her PS3 for the first time.
What can I say?
It was absolutely breathtaking, stunning, brilliant, every word which means something similar to those mentioned.
The art was lovely, the soundtrack was just incredible (I put it on my iPod dock when I went to sleep and i had the best night's sleep I've had in a long time) and the scenery...THE SCENERY. Everything was done so well and I was just blown away. I struggle to listen to anything else but the soundtrack. I always go back to it on iTunes. By the end of this masterpiece, I was an emotional, sniffling, blubbering mess. I stared at the ending as it happened (no spoilers for you, seriously, do NOT look ANYTHING up about this if you haven't played, not even the soundtrack) and tears were pouring down my face. I couldn't look away as it came to a close. When I realised another thing, I couldn't take it anymore. I was outright sobbing in front of my friend, her sister and her grandmother. I had to get tissues for myself and for a puddle of tears I had created on the floor.
Thanks for making me play this, I hate yet love you.
